Do you offer gift cards?

Yes we offer Gift Cards for any value which can be bought using the Gift Card Link in the menu on the home page! These last for 24 months and are sent digitally. You can include a personalised photo and also message and can select the delivery date this will be received by the recipient.

Do you include a telephone guestbook sign for all bookings?

We include our Telephone Guestbook Signage with all bookings. When you check out online you can select which style of sign you would like on the product page and see all of our styles on the "What's Included" Page

How are the guests audio messages delivered to me?

We send you your audio messages on our custom laser printed USB stick which comes in our printed Telephone Guestbook box. This will be posted to you within a week of us receiving the phone back from you.

Do you alter or improve the messages?

We process the messages through our software which makes them better to hear as we remove some of the background noise. Every event and wedding is unique, and so we make sure your messages are edited the best we possibly can! We don’t remove all the noise and this loose some of the experience! Our phones have a great audio quality!

Do I have to pay to return my telephone guest book?

No. Your telephone guestbook is supplied to you with a sticky returns label. We have already paid for the return postage and this will be included within your box package. You may use any Royal Mail or Post Office in the UK or UPS location in the USA.

Where should I put the Audio Guest Book at my venue?

We recommend putting your telephone guestbook in a location where you can have a phone conversation comfortably. As all our phones are powered with batteries so you can place the phone anywhere! You do not need a plug. The quieter the better!

Is there a limit on the amount of Audio Recordings?

There is really no limit on the amount of audio recordings on our telephone guestbooks. It is about 50 hours! The battery life is around 50 hours too.

What is The Telephone Guestbook?

We were the first company to operate an Audio Guestbook service in the UK and we still have the best value service for the lowest cost. We now also operate within 48 states of the USA. Guests can listen to your unique greeting (which you can pre record before you special day) and then leave you an audio message which you will be able to listen back to for years to come! Guests love this amazing guestbook concept. All generations from old to young love using our Telephone Guestbooks. Guests can record as many messages as they like as there is no limit on recordings. We deliver the Audio Messages to you in our unique USB keepsake presentation box and all postage and returns is included. Simply use the returns label within the box.

When will I receive my Telephone Guestbook delivery?

We mail out your Telephone Guestbook package so it will arrive with you at least 3 days before your selected date. We send out our phone packages between up to 21 days before your date. Please make sure you choose the correct date of your wedding/event so your chosen phone is sent out to you in time. We use a Royal Mail service in the UK and UPS service in the USA. If for any reason you need your Audio Guestbook outside of this time please contact us by email at hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com. We also can help you if you have a wedding abroad, just pop us an email. The price will be the same we just will need to log it in our system a little differently!

Can I book for an event at short notice?

Yes! If your event is within 2 days in the UK or 5 days in the USA please contact us via our email address hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com. You can also contact us by phone and will do our best to help you! We have many phones in stock and we can usually post out for next morning delivery. We are very used to last minute orders!

Do prices include Sales Taxes and VAT?

All prices advertised are the prices you will pay. We do not add on Sales Tax or VAT.

When will I be charged for my booking?

When you place an order you with The Telephone Guestbook you will be charged a deposit which will reserve your phone for the date you have selected. You will have the phone from at least 3 days before this date and you must return the phone to us within 3 days after this date. If you initally pay with a deposit the remainder of payment will be due 30 days before your selected date. You will be sent an invoice to your email address 37 days before your selected date for you to pay this. If you do not receive this please let us know. We will never cancel a booking without personally reaching out to you first by email and then by phone.

How long with it be before I receive my audio messages?

We will provide you with your edited messages within 7 working days of us receiving your phone package back. All bookings come with our digital download. Any keepsakes will be sent to you within 2-4 weeks.

What if I loose any items?

We do reserve the right to charge for any items than are not returned to us, however we try to be as lenient as possible with this. Please see our terms and conditions for a full list of our charges for lost or damaged items.

Are delivery costs included?

The price advertised with each phone includes the delivery costs to you and the return postage back to us.

Do you ship internationally outside the UK or USA?

At present, we ship within the UK and the mainland USA states. If however you want to take your phone abroad for an event or wedding please contact us at hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com or using our live chat service and we will be able to help you arrange a longer booking for you.

When will I receive my Telephone Guestbook?

You will receive your package at least 3 days before your booked date. If your phone has not arrived safety with you for any reason you can contact us and we will overnight ship another phone to you! We will always give the best customer service!

Do I have to pay to return my telephone guest book?

What if I cannot send the telephone guestbook back to you on time?

It is part of the terms and conditions to send us back the phone within 3 days after your event. However, if you have any issues with this please do not worry and contact us using our email and we can help you. We understand unexpected things can happen so please do not worry.

How do I return my telephone guestbook?

You will have a pre-printed returns label within your package. You can then drop off the package at any Royal Mail or Post Office in the UK or our USA customers can use any UPS location. There is a tracking number on the returns label in which you are able to check we have received your phone back before you hear from us.

Do you ever charge a late fee if I cannot return the package within 3 days of my booked date?

We reserve the right to charge £500/$600 if the telephone package is not sent back to us within 3 days of your booked date. If you have any issues with returning please contact us at the first instance as soon as possible. If you are travelling abroad with your phone please contact us before making your order and we can help you with your booking. We are used to people taking their audio guestbooks with them for destination wedding or events!

Can I cancel my order?

When you place an order your payment will be taken immediately. If you would like to change your booking date please contact us. If you partial pay for your order we will send you your final invoice 37 days before your booked date.

Do you ever charge a late fee if I cannot return the package within 3 days of my booked date?

We reserve the right to charge £300/$400 if the telephone package is not sent back to us within 3 days of your booked date. If you have any issues with returning please contact us at the first instance as soon as possible. If you are travelling abroad with your phone please contact us before making your order and we can help you with your booking. We are used to people taking their audio guestbooks with them, for their destination weddings or other events. We usually do not charge extra for this but we need to know to make sure our booking system is up to date.

Do you listen to our messages?

We understand that your guests messages are private to you however we will need to listen to them to provide you with the best possible audio recordings. When you book with us, a big part of our service to you is the editing of the audio messages. Is my deposit refundable?

When you place an order with the Telephone Guestbook your payment will be taken immediately. Your deposit is used to reserved your selected phone for your date. It therefore stops us using this phone for other customers. We are happy to move your booking for you if you contact us at least 30 days before your booked date. In the event of cancelation before 30 days your final payment will not be due however your deposit will be forfeited.

What if I cannot send the telephone guestbook back to you on time?

What if I need to change my order?

If you would like to change any aspects of your order (date, type of phone) please contact us and we will assist you the best we can.

Can I take my phone abroad?

Yes you can, however, you must check the phone is working when you receive the phone in the USA or UK. It will be your complete responsibility if the phone breaks after this point as we are not in control of how the phone is being transported. The phone should only been taken via hand lugage and not hold luggage.

What if the telephone guestbook is stolen or damaged?

As part of our terms and conditions we reserve the right to charge £500 ($600) if the phone is not returned to us or if it damaged beyond repair within 7 days after your rental period. We understand that the phone will be used by all of your guests so this does not apply to wear and tear. Drink spillage does not count as wear and tear.

Can I place my Telephone outside?

Yes you can, however, if the weather is going to be raining please place inside. Also with very high humidity this could impact the headset speaker so we recommend putting the phone inside. We cannot be liable for loss of headset sound when placed outside in high humidity. It will likely cause the greeting to seem fainter and usual.

Is the Telephone Guestbook easy to use?

The Telephone Guestbook will be sent out before your booking date. We will email you the instructions to set your phone up after we have sent your phone. If you have any problems with setting up you may call us anytime on our free phone number of via email hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com We also provide a sign and stand for the phone for guests to follow. For guests it is very simple, they simply pick the phone up and they will hear your greeting. Then after the bleep they will leave their message. Then they can put the the phone down.

How do I record my Audio Guestbook greeting?

Our engineers have specially designed our phones and software which allow you to record your greeting before your big day or special event. You can record this as many times as you like and even if you want to change this last minute you can. Everything is completely self contained within the phone. You do need to send us the recorded greeting as you will can this yourself in your own time! All the instructions are within the box we send out to you and if you have any problems you can call us or pop us an email and we will get back to you within a few hours.
