The Telephone Experience
The Telephone Guestbook is the Uk’s leading Telephone Audio Guestbook. Guests can listen to your unique greeting (which you can pre record before you big day) and then leave you a message which you will be able to listen back to for years to come! Guests love this amazing new guestbook concept. All generation from old to young love using the Telephone Guestbook. Guests can record as many messages as they like so there is no limit. We deliver the Audio Messages to you in our unique USB keepsake presentation box.
The limit is about 20 hours so you can record as many as you like!
We recommend putting the telephone guestbook in a location where you can have a phone conversation comfortably. As all our phones are powered with our battery you can place the phone anywhere! The quieter the better!
We put the messages through our software which makes them better to hear as we remove some of the background noise. We would ask that the phone is placed in a more quiet area.
We understand that the messages are private to you so we do not listen to all the messages but we may have to listen to some of them so we can provide you with the best audio recordings. The messages will never been shared with anyone else other than the person who booked with us unless we have your consent.
We send you the audio messages on our custom laser printed USB stick which comes in our printed custom box. This will be posted to you within a week of us receiving the phone back from you.
We include our custom made telephone guestbook sign with all bookings. You can view this sign under our info tab.
Ordering and Payment
We will provide you with all your audio messages on our custom printed USB. These are laser engraved with our logo and come in a presentation box. This will be sent to you in the post within 1 week of us receiving the telephone back.
When you place an order you will be charged a £50 deposit which will reserve your phone for the date you have selected. The remainder payment will be due 30 days before your selected date. You will be sent an invoice to your email address at least 60 days before your selected date for you to pay this.
All prices advertised is the price you will pay. We do not charge VAT.
If your event is within 10 days please contact us via our email address hello@thetelephoneguestbook.co.uk or our phone number and will do our best to help you.
Delivery and Returns
We do not charge late fees. However, we reserve the right to charge £400 if the telephone, and signage is not returned to us after 1 week of your booking. If you have any issues with returning please contact us at the first instance.
After your event we will send you an email with a returns QR code that you can simply show at your nearest Royal Mail/Post Office. They will scan the QR code and stick on the label for you to return to us.
It is part of the terms and conditions to send us back the phone within 3 days after your event. However, if you have any issues with this please do not worry and contact us using our email and we can help you. We understand unexpected things can happen so please do not worry.
No. Your telephone guestbook is supplied to you and once you have finished with your phone and packed it away, simply use any local post office to return the box to us. We have already paid for the return postage and this will be sent to you via a QR code to your email. You do not need to print anything out your local post office will be able to do this for you. Just simply show them your QR code.
We will send you your chosen phone at least 3 days before your booking date. If you have not received your phone please contact us straight away as we will be able to sort this for you.
At present, we only ship within the UK. However please contact us as we may be able to make an exception for you.
The price advertised with each phone includes the delivery costs to you and the return postage back to us.
Hire Policy
As part of your terms and conditions we reserve the right to charge £400 if the phone and signage is not returned to us or if it damaged within 2 weeks after your hire period. We understand that the phone will be used by all of your guests so this does not apply to wear and tear.
If you would like to change any aspects of your order (date, type of phone) please contact us and we will assist you the best we can.
When you place an order your payment will be taken immediately. If you would like to change your booking date please contact us. If you partial pay for your order we will send you your final invoice about a month before we send your phone out to you!

Set Up
Our engineers have specially designed our phones and software which allow you to record your greeting before your big day. You can record this as many times as you like and even if you want to change this last minute you can. Everything is completely self contained within the phone. We do not need you to send us the recording greeting you can do this yourself! You simply have to lift the handset and listen for the Jingle tone. After this dial *5555. After this you will hear the jingle tone again. After the Bleep you can record your greeting. Replace the handset. Your phone will now be good to go! If you do not like your greeting, after listening to the bleep you can repeat the steps to re-record your greeting.

The Telephone Guestbook will be sent out before your booking date. We will email you the instructions to set your phone up after we have sent your phone. If you have any problems with setting up you may call us anytime on our free phone number of via email hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com We also provide a sign and stand for the phone for guests to follow. For guests it is very simple, they simply pick the phone up and they will hear your greeting. Then after the bleep they will leave their message. Then they can put the the phone down.
