We mail out your Telephone Guestbook package so it will arrive with you at least 3 days before your selected date. Please make sure you choose the correct date of your wedding/event so your chosen phone is sent out to you in time. We use a Royal Mail service in the UK and UPS in the USA. If for any reason you need your Audio Guestbook outside of this time please contact us by email at hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com. We also can help you if you have a wedding abroad, just pop us an email. The price will be the same we just will need to log it in our system a little differently!
The Telephone Guestbook is the UK's leading Telephone Audio Guestbook. We were the first company to operate an Audio Guestbook service in the UK and we still have the best value service for the lowest cost. We now also operate within 48 states of the USA. Guests can listen to your unique greeting (which you can pre record before you special day) and then leave you an audio message which you will be able to listen back to for years to come! Guests love this amazing guestbook concept. All generations from old to young love using our Telephone Guestbooks. Guests can record as many messages as they like as there is no limit on recordings. We deliver the Audio Messages to you in our unique USB keepsake presentation box and all postage and returns is included. Simply use the returns label within the box.
There is really no limit on the amount of audio recordings on our telephone guestbooks. It is about 20 hours! The battery life is around 50 hours too.
We recommend putting your telephone guestbook in a location where you can have a phone conversation comfortably. As all our phones are powered with batteries you can place the phone anywhere! You do need need a plug. The quieter the better!

No. Your telephone guestbook is supplied to you with a sticky returns label. We have already paid for the return postage and this will be included within your box package. You may use any Royal Mail or Post Office in the UK or UPS location in the USA.
We process the messages through our software which makes them better to hear as we remove some of the background noise. As our phones have been modified for the best audio experience the recordings are great quality. Please note that not all Audio Guestbooks are the same! We have been doing this since 2018 and have improved our service each year since then. It is always best that the phone is left in a quiet area of your venue.
We send you your audio messages on our custom laser printed USB stick which comes in our printed Telephone Guestbook box. This will be posted to you within a week of us receiving the phone back from you.
We include our Audio Guestbook Signage with all bookings. When you check out online you can select which style of sign you would like on the product pages.
Ordering and Payment
We will provide you with all your audio messages on our custom printed USB. These are laser engraved with our logo and come in a presentation box. This will be sent to you in the post within 1 week of us receiving the telephone back. If your phone is sent back outside of the 3 days returns window this may effect the time it take us to get you your messages.
When you place an order you with The Telephone Guestbook you will be charged a deposit which will reserve your phone for the date you have selected. You will have the phone from at least 3 days before this date and you must return the phone to us within 3 days after this date. If you initally pay with a deposit the remainder of payment will be due 30 days before your selected date. You will be sent an invoice to your email address at least 45 days before your selected date for you to pay this. If you do not receive this please let us know. We will never cancel a booking without personally reaching out to you first by email and then by phone.
All prices advertised are the prices you will pay. We do not add on Sales Tax or VAT.
If your event is within 2 days in the UK or 10 days in the USA please contact us via our email address hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com. You can also contact us by phone and will do our best to help you sort a phone for your event. We have many phones in stock and we can usually post out for next morning delivery.

We reserve the right to charge £300/$400 if the telephone package is not sent back to us within 3 days of your booked date. If you have any issues with returning please contact us at the first instance as soon as possible. If you are travelling abroad with your phone please contact us before making your order and we can help you with your booking. We are used to people taking their audio guestbooks with them, for their destination weddings or other events. We usually do not charge extra for this but we need to know to make sure our booking system is up to date.
You will have a pre-printed returns label within your package. You can then drop off the package at any Royal Mail or Post Office in the UK or our USA customers can use any UPS location. There is a tracking number on the returns label in which you are able to check we have received your phone back before you hear from us.

At present, we ship within the UK and the mainland USA states. If however you want to take your phone abroad for an event or wedding please contact us at hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com or using our live chat service and we will be able to help you arrange a longer booking for you.
The price advertised with each phone includes the delivery costs to you and the return postage back to us.
Hire Policy
As part of our terms and conditions we reserve the right to charge £500 ($600) if the phone is not returned to us or if it damaged beyond repair within 7 days after your rental period. We understand that the phone will be used by all of your guests so this does not apply to wear and tear. Drink spillage does not count as wear and tear.
If you would like to change any aspects of your order (date, type of phone) please contact us and we will assist you the best we can.
It is part of the terms and conditions to send us back the phone within 3 days after your event. However, if you have any issues with this please do not worry and contact us using our email and we can help you. We understand unexpected things can happen so please do not worry.
When you place an order with the Telephone Guestbook your payment will be taken immediately. Your deposit is used to reserved your selected phone for your date. It therefore stops us using this phone for other customers. We are happy to move your booking for you if you contact us at least 7 days before your booked date or we can switch the style of phone for you. In the event of cancelation your final payment will not be due however your deposit will be forfeited.
We understand that your guests messages are private to you however we will need to listen to them to provide you with the best possible audio recordings. Set Up
Our engineers have specially designed our phones and software which allow you to record your greeting before your big day or special event. You can record this as many times as you like and even if you want to change this last minute you can. Everything is completely self contained within the phone. You do need to send us the recorded greeting as you will can this yourself in your own time! All the instructions are within the box we send out to you and if you have any problems you can call us or pop us an email and we will get back to you within a few hours.

The Telephone Guestbook will be sent out before your booking date. We will email you the instructions to set your phone up after we have sent your phone. If you have any problems with setting up you may call us anytime on our free phone number of via email hello@thetelephoneguestbook.com We also provide a sign and stand for the phone for guests to follow. For guests it is very simple, they simply pick the phone up and they will hear your greeting. Then after the bleep they will leave their message. Then they can put the the phone down.
